Starting from scratch in 2012 by providing wholesome, delicious lunches to a single school, Claye Cantwell and Lynley Connor quickly formulated a recipe for success with TopNotch Catering Company. As it grew to serve more than 70 schools and nonprofits across Southern California, they were crafting more than 15,000 breakfast products a day—but were disappointed by the lack of traditionally made breads and pastries on the market.
Breaducation is the only California-based company delivering preservative-free, clean-label baked goods to school districts, and non-profits within the National School Lunch Program or Child Adult Care Food Program (NSLP or CACFP). As one of the few women-owned baking companies within the school nutrition industry nationwide, Breaducation prides itself on a wonderful rapport with local growers and producers along with ethical business practices that shape every interaction.
